Studies of Society & Environment

SOSE Program

SOSE introduces young people to particular social, cultural, economic and environmental relationships, which characterise communities at particular times and places.  The values, concepts, skills and processes are drawn from a range of traditions of inquiry, including the disciplines of history, geography, economics, politics, sociology, anthropology, law, psychology, and ethics, as well as fields such as futures, environmental, global and rural, peace, gender, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Asian and other cultural studies.
