St Ritas School Parent Network

The purpose of the School Parent Network (SPN) is to allow parents to contribute to discussions on issues and to make decisions that will have a positive impact on the school community.

The SPN also has the responsibility of managing and distributing funds collected from the annual Parent Levy.

Our objectives in collaboration with the School Principal are primarily to support the spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of all students as well as providing a medium of support, information and involvement of parent/carer’s in their children’s education and the school community.

Recent SPN Initiatives

To date some of the initiatives that the SPN have organised are:

  • Banners to represent student house colours for sports carnivals
  • Netball, touch football and athletics uniforms
  • Allocation of funds for various school improvements such as:
Sport Team marquees
Musical instruments
Coding Club resources - computers,, spiros
Mother's Day & Father's Day morning tea
School Disco
Snug as a bug movie night
Walk to School Day
NAPLAN Morning Teas for Year 3 and 5
We love seeing new faces at each meeting and send an open invitation to any member of the St Rita’s Community to come along and share a coffee. This is the perfect forum to discuss your wonderful ideas and suggestions to help the St Rita’s Community continue to prosper.

Our St Rita's SPN hold meetings twice per term.  Please refer to our fortnightly newsletter or Parent Portal for meeting times and dates.
